How to Measure Yourself for the Perfect Fit
Forget relying on your usual size from other brands. Each label has its own sizing quirks. Follow these steps to get accurate measurements.
Step 1: Chest Width
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal and snug but not tight. Exhale normally. Write down the number in inches or centimeters.
Pro tip: If you're between sizes, size up - you can always shrink a tee, but you can't stretch it out easily.
Step 2: Waist and Hips
For a tapered fit, measure at your natural waist (where you bend sideways) and at the widest part of your hips. This helps determine if a shirt will ride up or bunch.
Step 3: Sleeve and Length
Measure from the center of your collarbone to your shoulder point, then down to where you want the sleeve to end. For length, measure from the highest point of your shoulder (near the neck) to where you want the hem - usually at the hip bone or slightly below.
Compare these numbers to the size chart on our product pages. I recommend checking the 'Friends Keep Secrets Classic Logo Tee' size chart as a baseline - it's our most popular shirt and the sizing is consistent across designs.
